Yesterday night the alternative rock band
Face of God was opening the show on Tavastia´s stage as warm up band for HIM.
HIM is one of Finland´s famous bands abroad, this attracted an very international audience to the start of the Helldone Festival 2012. Face of God played for 45
min with lot of fun on the stage and the audience seems to like it. It was a
big honour for the alternative rock band to open up the festival and they were
really proud to be supporting act of HIM. Benjamin, Oscar and Leo appreciate
HIM a lot.For a warm up band Face of God was
brilliant. They showed up on Tavastia´s stage and succeeded in it. Lot of songs with a fast
tempo speeded up the start, a bit slower in the middle and continue with a
fast tempo in the end was a perfect strategy from the trio. A very good song collection to show the best of Face of God in just 45 min. They looked very good on Tavastia stage as they
would belong there already since years. A
perfect start of the Helldone Festival, just HIM struggled a bit. After the HIM
show a lot of disappointed faces could be found in the audience, people
expected more or maybe too much of their favourite band. A come back is always hard for a band and
there are still a few other nights left where HIM has the possibility to show
what they really can do, but yesterday they had a hard time to engage the audience.
Face of God´s show on the other hand couldn´t work out better. A very great sound and Leo could engage the
hungry waiting HIM fans to celebrate with him. Positive feedback was given also
by the organizer of the Helldone Festival to the band. They were really happy
that everything went so smoothly and Face of God played after schedule and they
got described as a really easy going band, no star attitude. The guys also
cared a lot about their fans and came outside the backstage after the gig to
talk to the audience and to collect more fans as friends. A lot of interviews happened
today the day after the Helldone opening. Interviewers described the band as very
friendly, happy and open for anything. For Face of God a great contact to their fans is very important and they appreciate people that like their music a lot.
Helldone was a perfect start for the young dynamic alternative rock band and we
will follow the success story....More soon...
