"The gig of Face of God on Saturday in Bar Bäkkäri was awesome like always! Full of energy the guys were rocking the whole club and the feeling was breathtaking! Live they are simply great, no matter how often you have already seen them. Hopefully they will also play in Austria, the distance to Finland is just too far!"

Face of God at the Trash Bar, Brooklyn

Did New York had really enough of Face of God? "Since we took all the cocaine that was on the market, we have to move on to Washington and Philadelphia now" Lende was kidding on stage with the New Yorkers. Nobody had enough of them!!! Brooklyn Trash Bar was a perfect venue, small but with a bad ass rock´n´roll attitude. Bassist Benjamin got shirtless once again, the temperature in New York City is just too much to handle. Very great show in Brooklyn, now the guys moved on to Washington were they meet up with Metal Underground for an interview. The link to the interview will be published here when it is online. NEW YORK CITY, Otto´s Shrunken Head

Welcome Face of God to the US. Yesterday the punk rock place Otto´s Shrunken Head presented a rock night with a couple of bands. Face of God was one of them and definitely showed what they can. The audience was impressed, a lot of people gave so much positive feedback to the guys after the performance. Frontman Leo Stillman opened the show up with a small stand-up comedy try and confused the people, but hei it was just a joke they are one of Finland´s best rock bands not a stand-up.
The small punk rock place on the 14th East in Manhattan heated up very fast and the guys on their way getting naked encouraging the audience to join :) Alright no naked party, but a hell of a great show. New York, you definitely need a band like Face of God!!!!
The next show will be on 23rd in the Trash bar, Brooklyn. Be there don´t miss it out!!! 

FACE OF GOD: SO THIS IS LOVE

Finally the Face of God video to SO THIS IS LOVE came out today. The video was produced a few months ago inside the oldest sailing boat in Helsinki´s harbour: Jan Mayen. It is also possible to rent the location: http://janmayen.fi/ A huge party sponsored by Heineken beer was going on in month march on Jan Mayen. SO THIS IS LOVE got released and the video is definitely showing the party mood of the night. A brilliant music video with nice neon painting and light effects and the best rocking atmosphere you can have in a music video. Produced got the video by JohnLaHanhi and his team. GREAT JOB, keep it up this way and feel free to share and like the video.

Finally it is out. A surprise from the label Suomen Musiikki, one day early than expected. Be happy and see Helsinki dancing to Face of God´s cover version. Leo Stillman the Finnish Pharrell Williams?

One day is just left till the release of the Finnish version -HAPPY. 
Pharrell Williams had a genius idea with writing this song.
As well as Pharrell, Leo Stillman is one of finest artists when it comes to great and inspirational live music and song texts with a kick ass idea. The songs Leo is writing for his band Face of God are at least as good as Pharrell´s HAPPY. It will be just a matter of time till they throw the same attention. Face of God is a powerful alternative rock band with the talent to succeed. HAPPY as cover version comes along with a rock attitude and strong guitar riffs -> much more rock´n´roll than Pharrell´s original. HAPPY is just catchy as hell and set´s the people around the world in a good mood. It definitely will lift your ass from the sofa, cause you just have to dance and feel the music. A song that can turn your mood upside-down in a positive way. No wonder that Face of God´s frontman Leo Stillman agreed to cover HAPPY, as he got a call from Kari Hynninen the founder of Suomen Musiikki label, who brought the idea up. In just a few weeks the organisation talent Leo set everything up: practising, studio, recording, master, cover photo and the final video shoot to HAPPY. A lot of friends supported and helped him with joy. A huge thank you again at this point to the HAPPY- Crew. The music video recorded by Juha Hanhinen took place around Helsinki on a cold but sunny day. Face of God and friends were on the road as the sun came up till it went down. A lot of fun, happy mood and joy was the motto of that day between hard working. The whole band can be very proud of this achievement and I think for Leo Stillman who´s birthday is coming up tomorrow, this might be his best bday present ever. HAPPY will be released 25.04.2013 in the rock location of Bar Backstage (Bar Bäkkäri) in Helsinki. The release party will be this Friday from 7pm on. You are all very welcome to enjoy the Finnish version of HAPPY and rock to the live performance of the band Face of God at 9 pm. Don´t miss out on that!!!!
