Face of God played in Malmitalo, culture house of Malmi 27.01.2012

Culture that was the theme of the evening. Face of God and Pasa were very lucky to use such a great theatre venue like in Malmitalo, the culture house of Malmi. Weird to go to a concert and actually having a seat number. It was really nice that they staged a concert without any agelimit, so also the younger people could join and have fun. The place was full off lovely teenagers. Awesome to create a event for the younger audience, instead of hanging around with friends they actually got entertainment and got kept away from stupid ideas the teenage brings with it. The venue was more made for theatre plays than for rock music, the sound wasn´t the best but Face of God managed well. They engaged the audience, clapping hands around the places as well as happy faces. The teenage girls fall in love with them, who actually wouldn´t? Lovely guys and great music. "Chase Yesterday" was amazing staged in the theatre venue it made the song more real, even maybe more sad. It created a typically theatre play dramatic on stage. Lende´s voice sounded so professional and improved during the song. Benjamin gave his best in playing bass, but the surrounding sound in the venue kind of killed the bass sound but still he kept on rocking with a smile in his face. Osku played the drums really strong. The drums sound was actually coming out very well in the venue. Happiness, laughter, drama and a great performance on stage. Applause to Face of God. Stand up and clap your hand´s, motherfuckers!!!!

Face of God 18.01.2012 @ Bar Loose

Face of God jumped in very spontanly as supporting act of Nimetön in Bar Loose. And with jumping it really means jumping, because Lende did it again to jump ,when "Turn back the time" was playing, into the audience and kind of surpised and scared the people in the same time with his high ability to rock. Osku played amazing drums that night, really really great sound. Lende the singer without T-shirt, now finally learned how to wear one and how to let it on. Benjamins blond hair was headbanging around to the strong sound of the bass. This time the amount of audience wasn´t that much like the band is used to, but for announcing the perfomance in Loose so lately it was still a success. A really great night with two amazing bands, because also Nimetön rocked the shit out of the house. Thank you Face of God for suprising us with this spontanly unplanned performance which was amazing!!!

Face of God @ Bar Base 13.01.2012

"Summer is coming" , crowded and hot was it. Everybody was wishing for a little piece of Summer when it was minus degrees and snow outside. Bar Base isn´t the place for the best sound, but Face of God gave their best in performing with a few sound problems, but singer Lende laminated them with energic jumping around and offering a good mood to the audience. The bass player Benjamin could show up with his voice in the begining as Leo´s micro wasn´t working, but the problem was solved out very quick. After the dramatic start the gig went smoothly through. Oscar played amazing drums, he rocked the gig. Really great was that Lende started to communicate with his audience and took them into the mood to get their hands up and feel the music. People who didn´t know Face of God yet started to love them. The Atmosphere in the small rock place was great and for that we all can give a very huge Thank you to Face of God, they staged again a very cool show.

Club Liberte 7.01.2012 FACE OF GOD

Sex Sales, but not in Liberte in Kallio/Helsinki. With less sex appeal to the Top, Lende played his first gig with having a T-shirt on and also bassist Benjamin didn´t showed up without one. Face of God more serious, but also more profession. The concentration was fully spent into the music and they played with "Fire" which was also the opening song of the gig. Liberte was crowded or even more than that. When somebody things Finnish audience cannot move Face of God made them move or better dancing, rocking and also a few head bangers joined. The song "Elephant" was really well known through the video that came out and everybody could sing the lyrics. Great!!! Finally!!! "The Sky is in Flame". Face of God deserves it. They are working hard and you see the result the gigs are getting better and better, where should this end? The band is on the way to perfectionism. "Chase yesterday" as a slower song gave a break to breathe for the audience after all the dancing and jumping before. The song Lende wrote for his dead father stirred to tears. It is a song that comes so deep from the heart that people just need to love it. And the applause was huge as "Chase yesterday" ended. Also "Bad" is one of the favorite dancing songs, it makes people move their body to a fascinated own created style of rock music. Uniqueness was never a problem for Face of God. “Miracles” was played amazing. The band kicked that song so often out of the Programme because it never worked out so well in the Live-Version, but yesterday it just sounded perfect. The Rhythmus was not too slow and not too fast, like the recorded-Version from the studio. This gig was "Paranormal" and "Turn back the time" made singer Lende jump into the audience and he gave everything to rock the final song. Woooooow amazing show and Face of God won a lot of Fans. Bar Base Acoustic Gig 06.01.2012 (Charity)

Bar Base in Kalevankatu 3 in Helsinki was organizing at 06.01.2012 a Charity event on Acoustic basis with several acts. The collected money of the event through an entrence fee of 10 euros was donated to following organizations: Ramro Shari (and orphange in Nepal), Long Way Home (an organization helping a poor mayan community in Comlapa Guatemala) and Club Union de los Pibes (a small, voluntary organization based in Buenos Aires Argentina). The supporting artist that were performing in the Acoustic gig event were: Stina Girs (Idol winner in Finland) Olavi Tikka & Hullumylly, FACE OF GOD, Gotham O.D., Turta, Scene D´Chryme and Lost Madison. The event was successful, lot of visitors came and spend their money, through watching the show, to the named charity organization. The small rock bar Base was long time not that full like it was yesterday. Face of God played their very first Acoustic gig on stage and for that it was on a very good level. A few new songs surprised in the begining and "Chase Yesterday" was amazing, their is so much feeling and emotion in the song. The audience was dancing, singing and having fun like it shoud be at a Charity event.

Face of God Music Video Elephant

The very first music video of Face of God is out. It is the soundtrack to the 3 Simoa Movie which is coming out this year in Finland. The band rocks the video with their happy mood song. The Movie production of 3 Simoa can be happy to got such a great soundtrack. Also in this year people will hear from Lende, Benjamin and Oscar. Live gigs are already planned:

 No doubt this gig was one of the best we have seen. The guys were on fire. Leo´s voice and uitar sounded so damn good, Oscar was killing the drums and Benjamin rocked the bass like there was no tomorrow. Face of God was full of confidence and you really could hear it! The audience of Loose ot very lucky on that thursday as they were the first ones to hear the new song. Name of the song is "Chase Yesterday". Leo himslef said that this is their best song so far. Leo dedicated the song to his fahter who unfortunatley passed away one year ago. The gig was beyond fantastic! Lots of people, new fas and old fans and everything went really well. Face of God is getting stronger and stonger after every gig, and they can´t be stopped!!!
